Spirituality VS Objective Reality

"Dear Wise and Magnificent Lord Sotlio,

If there is no objective reality, ( i.e. each being has his own subjective reality which he creates), then why do some things appear pretty much the same for every one?

For example, why is the grass green, the sky blue, why does the office building where hundreds of people work, have the same address for all of them. In other words, it doesn't appear on 52nd Street for one, and Third Street for another..... Why do the laws of physics appear to work the same way for every one?

Everyone experiences gravity, for example. Do not these things prove there is an external, fixed, independent reality?
I know about what TS says about co-creations, but how can that explain things that have been the same for centuries like grass, sun, sky, gravity et al.....?

Your grateful son,

Klind65"

Dear son,

To get a good perspective on "things appear pretty much the same for every one" we can try a little imagination exercise.

I have brown eyes. Let's say you have blue eyes. We both look at grass and say "that is green". However, if we were to, say, go through a surgical procedure and we traded eyeballs (it's silly, I know, but bare with me) I would now have your blue eyes and you have my brown eyes.

You would say to me "Something is wrong with your eyes, here. The grass looks purple!"
I would say "No, my eyes see the grass as green, but your eyes see the grass as red!"

See where I'm going with this? We've taught ourselves to believe "green" or "blue" is an objective expression, but all we really do is perceive it subjectively and agree with each other that it has a name.

The purpose of the 3-D realm and being a human is for the sake of the experience. In reality, we are all just one consciousness. We've (I've) always existed and always will exist. You generally don't like being lonely, I don't like being lonely, and the one finds being alone dull.

So we decided to play a game. Let's forget we are all one. Let's forget we are infinite and omnipotent. Let's pretend we have limitations. Let's set some rules and laws to this game. Let's pretend there is struggle, and sadness, and challenges, and rewards, friends, and enemies, fears, and triumphs. Let's agree on a law of physics. Let's say there is birth, and death, and sickness, and aging, and learning, and winning, and losing.

Hence, the stage was set, and the game is being played.

The time will come (and it is getting near) when we'll be done with this game. We'll ALL remember the truth, and then we'll make a new game to play.

  2. ironyrules61,

    Great article!

    Klind65,

See what I mean? The time is getting near that this game will be done. We'll ALL know the truth, and then we'll come up with another wonderful game to play.
